Was visiting a friend out of town and she cooked for me — what a treat!  Many times people feel intimidated cooking for me, but it always feels like so much love to be cared for in this way.  If you extend an invitation, I will be there!

Monday
Got home very late from my trip and did some hurricane prep, ate out at Melfi’s – a great new place!

Tuesday
impromptu birthday party for a friend at Graft and Leon’s Chicken and Oysters – it was such a lovely gathering – I really wasn’t hungry and was simply enjoying the company, so I just nibbled on Scott’s clam and lettuce wraps

Wednesday
thinking we were going to be cooped up for the next several days, we went out AGAIN to Rarebit

Thursday

BBQ Ribs – slow cooked in the oven, finished on the grill, I think I found my favorite way to do these!

Paleo Crepes as the “shells” – that was a fun experiment!
Tomatillo, Avocado, Spinach Guacamole — get the recipe

Cocktail Bonus: Honeydew Margarita — bye bye, summer!

Dessert Bonus: Paleo Brownies (really more like Texas Sheet Cake) – unusual for me, I’ve been wanting some chocolate!! – This did the trick and is better for my body than most desserts.
